Show Death of Salt Lake Mother Boosts County Fatality Rolls The fourth traffic fatality in Iron County during 1955 was recorded re-corded Monday evening when a Salt Lake mother was killed in an automobile crash at Hamilton's Hamil-ton's Fort at about 7 p. m. Mrs. LaRue Baldwin Rlchlns 45, Salt Lake City, was killed when she was thrown from the rolling automobile which she had been driving. Her two children, Kreigh Richlns, 12, and Kay, 8, remained In the car and escaped escap-ed without serious injury. The accident occurred when Mrs. Richins lost control of the car as she left Hamilton's Fort on Highway 91. Investigating officers offi-cers report that the car skidded 75 feet Into a stop sign, sheering sheer-ing it off, and then rolled for 167 feet before coming to a stop. Iron County had the same number of traffic fatalities at this date last year, with a total of 11 for the full year of 1954. |
