Show July 4th Observance Includes Full Day's Program A full day's program for the observance of the Fourth of July In Parowan has been arranged by the general committee and assignments as-signments for each of the various events has been mae, according to Clair Hulet, chairman, who with Garry Bentley and Howard Adams, make up the general committee. They list the events, with their sponsors, as follows: Daybreak salute, Carmen (Bill) Rollins; parade, Stake Primary and Lions Club; patriotic, meeting, meet-ing, Sons of Utah Pioneers; sports for children, Trl-H Club; race meet and rodeo, Red Hill Wranglers, Wran-glers, and dance In the evening, Parowan Stake officials. Times for these events have been tentatively set as follows, Hulet states: salute at daybreak, parade, 10 a. m.; meeting, 11 a. m.; race meet and rodeo, 2:30 p. m.; sports, 6 p. m., and dance 9:30 p. m. We understand that the parade will probably be divided Into tun cftptlrvno rmo fnr full flprlcroil floats, and one for floats of the miniature variety. The parade will be led by the race meet and rodeo queen and her attendants, Mary Gae Evans, queen, and Eleanor Adams, Mary Etta Stubbs and AUeen Holyoak, attendants.. at-tendants.. A fine program of races and amateur rodeo events has been readied for the afternoon at the race track, with plenty of horses for racing and bucking and calves for roping, , plus a char-lot char-lot race. |
