Show Luella R. Adams Observes 80th Birthday i Mrs. Luella R. Adams, prominent promin-ent lady of Parowan and a lifelong life-long worker in tlie L D S church, celebrated her 80th birthday on Thursday June 16, with the observance ob-servance continuing through Sunday Sun-day in the form of a family reunion, reun-ion, with all of her children except ex-cept one being present for a day or two during that time. A birthday dinner was held on Thursday, and this was followed by a family breakfast and dinner at the Five Mile on Saturday. On Sunday evening the family members mem-bers presented a' program in honor hon-or of their mother in the First-Second First-Second Ward chapel, with the public Invited. Eight of her nine living children chil-dren visited here during the four day period, as follows:: Mr. and Mrs. Obert C. Tanner and Mrs. Adele Matheson, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Alice Ballinger and daughter, Ogden; Mr. and Mrs. Lowell (Red) Adams and two children of Healdburg, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Adams, Lovell, Wyo.; Mr. and Mrs. Morris Mor-ris Johnson, and a daughter and son of Kaysville; Mr. and Mrs. Ray H. Adams and Mrs. Carol Wright and families of Parowan. Hillman (Hebe) Adams, who Is in the U. S. Air Force, stationed at March Field, Calif., was on a special mission in Idaho, and unable un-able to be here. |
