Show Dairy Freez Opens ft New . Branch in Parowan The Dairy Freez, selling refreshments re-freshments that are "deliciously different," opened in Parowan on Monday of this week on a trial basis, to get the kinks out of the equipment and to prepare for a grand opening on Friday, June 24, according to Kent Heaps, owner and manager, Mr. Heaps, who also operates a similar business bus-iness in Cedar City, states that he will hold this opening on Friday, Fri-day, from 2 to 5 p. m. during which time he will serve free ice cream cones to all children up to 12 years of age who visit the Dairy Freez in company with one or both of their parents. Heaps states that the business will be operated by Miss Pat Newby with her sister, Miss Ruth Newby as her assistant during the summer months, after which it will be operated by local personnel per-sonnel during the fall months. It is planned to be open for business bus-iness at 9:30 a. m. and remain open until 10:30 p. m. The business will specialize In hamburgers, cheeseburgers, foot long hot dogs, French fries, cones, sundaes, malts and soft drinks with package Ice cream to take out. Heaps states that It Is the aim of the Dairy Freez chain to provide the fastest service possible possi-ble but asks patrons to be patient pa-tient during rush periods.
