Show Formal Opening held For Attractive New Business House i The new Parowan Cafe here held its opening on Tuesday afternoon af-ternoon of this week in the building belonging to Georgia B. Mitchell which formerly housed the Ram Cafe. The new Parowan Paro-wan Cafe will be operated by Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Ball and son, and associated with them- will be Mr. and Mrs. James Radford. They have spent several weeks decor-ating decor-ating the building and installing new counter, booths and other equipment to make it one of the most attractive places of its kind to be found anywhere. , The cafe is now open for regular regu-lar business, opening at 5 a. m. and remaining open until 1 a. m.. They announce that Cecil and Jim will do the cooking and their wives and two waitresses will be on duty in the front, and plan to remain open for 24 hours a day during the deer season. At the open house Tuesday at which time there was' a profu-slon profu-slon of beautiful flowers sent by business houses and individuals here and in Cedar City, free ice cream, soft drinks and coffee was served from 3 to 7 p. m.. This service was through the courtesy of the following business firms: Arden-Sunfreze Dairy, Coca-Cola Bottling Co. and 7-Up Bottling Co. of Cedar City and the Dixie Bottling Co. of St. George and the Farmers Bros. Coffee Co. Mr. and Mrs. Ball are from Dallas, Dal-las, Texas and Mr. and Mrs. Radford Rad-ford are from Stockton, Calif. |
