Show Heart Fund Drive Contributions Run Hiah Terming the results "another civic attainment in which all Utahns may take pride," Nicholas G. Morgan, Jr., 1S55 Heart Fund chairman, announced today the final total of $16,512.41 as the amount contributed throughout the state to combat diseases of the heart and circulation. Of the total amount donated $3G3.62 is attributed to the successful suc-cessful campaign conducted in Cedar City by David L. Sargent and his volunteer assistants. Specifically this money contributed contrib-uted to the 1955 campaign ti-resents ti-resents an amount twice as mxicfc as the amount donated in 195.L Among the local activities which will be supported by proceeds pro-ceeds of the 1955 drive are research re-search grants in the field cf heart disease, professional and public education programs. Research Re-search grants to be awarded will be announced in the very near future. |
