Show PROSSER CASE GOESJO JURY L1BBY, Mont, Aug. IS. Tho case of Mrs. Vera Prosser, charged with the murder of her divorced husband, Reeso T. PTOSser, aboard a great Northern train near here, was given to tho Jury this evening, following brilliant argument by State Senator Thomas D. Long for Mrs. Prosser, In which do declared with great dramatic dramat-ic effect that "Mrs. Trosscr had every right under tho laws of God and man to kill that man when sho did." When Senator Long began his argument ar-gument and began recalling acts In the lives of the couple. Mrs. Prosser began to moan and cry, her cries Increasing In-creasing until she became hysterical. County Attorney Maiden assailed the Insanity plea and declared expert testimony was valueless, as It could : be bought for so much per expert, and asked the Jury If It was not strange that Mrs. Prosser had a gun with her at the time she was" seized with temporary tem-porary insanity. |
