Show Meeting on Proposed Irrigation Irriga-tion District Meet With Success Meetings throughout Weber county with regard to the proposed irrigation district have been successful so far, said W. Preston Thomas of the Weber county farm bureau this morning. At Huntsvllle on Monday night there was a very large attendance, and at lSden yosterday afternoon there was almost 100 per cent of the farmers of the district present. At both place's the meaning of the cards dealing with the allotment of water in the proposed pro-posed distinct was explained- by W. A. McLaughlin, assistant engineer to Dr. Samuel Forticr. and the committees on adjustment of the water allotments in both places found that their recommendations recom-mendations are highly satisfactory to the land owners. The metings -will conclude this week and everything be in readiness for the meeting of the county commissioners who will act as a board of equalization on the mattor, April 26, said Mr. Thomas. oo |
