Show oo SOLDIERS' HOMESTEAD L BILL PASSES HOUSE WASHINGTON. April 21 The house of representatives passed the senate bill providing that any homestead home-stead entrymon who served In the army or navy during the war with Gormany, and was honorably discharged dis-charged because of physical Incapacitation Incapaci-tation incurred in the service, may commute his entry, without further residence or cultivation, and obtain title by paying $1.25 per acre for his land. This applies to entrymon who had initiated entries before the outbreak out-break of the war, and who had not made final proof at the time they entered en-tered the service. The house also passed Representative Representa-tive James II. Mays' resolution authorizing au-thorizing tho secretary of war to grant revocable permits for the romoval of sand and gravel from the Fort Douglas Doug-las military reservation to persons desiring de-siring to use the material in industries indus-tries and manufacturing purposes within the slate, tho price to bo fixed by the secretary.
