Show BAUM WELL IN DRY PINEY STRIKES OIL A considerable flow of oil has been struck in the Baum well in the . Dry Piney field near Kemmerer, Wyo., according ac-cording to A. G. Burritt, local mining engineer. en-gineer. This well is located near the Lincoln-Idaho well, which was brought in recently with a flow of 200 barrels per day. Oil was struck at a depth of approximately ap-proximately 1000 feet. Until adequate storage can be provided the well will be capped. Gas from the Lincoln -Idaho well was piped up an elevation of 200 feet to the Baum well for fuel purposes. When the oil was struck in the Baum well, it is eatd, tiie flow of gas from the Lincoln-Idaho Lincoln-Idaho was replaced by a flow of oil. |
