Show SHERIFF INTERPLEADS IN STEPHENS CASE Speolal to The Tribune. OODEN, July 17. Sheriff H. C. Peter-on Peter-on has filed in the district court, in the case filed against him )y Lulu Stephens, a motion for interpleading. The sheriff asks that the Mountain , States Supply company and James H. i Anderson, trustee, be made the defendants. defend-ants. The motion sets forth that the supply company filed suit against W. J. Stephens, Jr., and David L. Butters to recover $1633, and a certain garnishment was placed against the certain plumbing articles held. In March, 1919, W. J. Stephens, Jr., was adjudged bankrupt and Anderson was named trustee. It is further stated that W. J. Stephens, Jr., and Lulu Stephens Ste-phens are husband and wife and claim a community interest In the property as well as in the case pending. |
