Show WILSON MAY TOUR SOUTHERN STATES Chicago Tribune Special Service. WASHINGTON, July 17. Invasion of the south by the president in defense of the league of nations is one of the possibilities, pos-sibilities, it was stated here today, it was said that, owing to enthusiasm shown over the attacks on the league by Senator Sen-ator James A. Reed of Missouri in hia speeches at Atlanta and other cities of the south, Mr. Wilson might choose Atlanta At-lanta as the point for his first speech. As indicating the feeling on the league in Georgia, it Is stated that a resolution of indorsement has been pending in the Georgia legislature for several weeks and that friends of the league fear to bring it to a vote. |
