Show WOULD SAVE LIFE OF MEXICAN SLAYER Attorney for Vincent Rami-siez, Rami-siez, Sentenced to Hang, Goes Before Board. Special to The Tribune. BOXSE, Idaho, July 17. A plea for the life of Vincent Ramisiez of Madison county, sentenced to be hanged for first-degree first-degree murder, was made before the board of pardons today by Attorney J. B. El-dridge, El-dridge, and. was taken under advisement. Ramisiez was cnarged with the murder of Biscara in Madison county. Esplnaza was charged with being an accomplice to the deed. Both prisoners, the murdered man and the old man whose name Is not known are Mexicans. On the night of the crime all of the men were assembled at the Biscara home. During the night, when all were supposed sup-posed to be asleep, according to the testimony tes-timony of the ol man, Ramisiez and Espinaza were seen passing through the room in which he was supposed to be sleeping, carrying the body of Biscara. They dragged the form out into the yard and buried the body. The moon was bright on this occasion, according to the old man, and the faces of. both of the prisoners were plainly seen, i Five convicts were pardoned by the board. They are: William Trippet of Shoshone Sho-shone county, serving from one to ten years for second-degree manslaughter; George Brown, Washington county, charged with burglary, pardon to cake ef-' ef-' feet September 15: William Butler, Bingham Bing-ham county, burglary; Ernest D. Rogers, Power county, manslaughter In the second degree, and Maggie Ay cox, a negress, serving a term for theft. |
