Show INDUCEMENTS MADE TO FRUITJEXHIBITORS State Fair Board to Offer Free Storage for Displays Dis-plays in Fall. The Utah State Fair association is encouraging the exhibition of fruits and vegetables at the fair in October by offering free storage to prospective exhibitors. Letters are being sent to county agents and persons in charge of preparations for county exhibits setting set-ting forth this fact, but the regulation applies to all exhibitors of fruits and vegetables. The exhibitor will bo. required to pay the expenses of trarprting the perishables per-ishables to the cold storage warehouse, but the state fair association will pay the cost of cold storage until the opening open-ing of the fair. Those desiring to take avantage of .this offer are asked to communicate with Manager D. W. Parratt at the state fair offices in the capitol. Tentative arrangements for amusement amuse-ment features of the fair were made yesterday at a meeting of the executive committee held at the Newhouse hotel. There was some discussion of concessions, conces-sions, but final action will not be taken ta-ken until another meeting, according to Mr. Parratt. Clyde Edmonds was ' appointed assistant as-sistant to George S. McAllister, superintendent super-intendent of the admittance department. depart-ment. Permission was given Mr. Parratt to repair the roofs of the cattle sheds in preparation for the opening of the fair. |
