Show EDUCATION BOARDS INVITED TO MEETING Members of boards of education of city nnd rural school districts are invited by G. N. Child. state superintendent of public instruction, to be present at a meeting of district superintendents at the capitol, August 8 and 9. His letter says: "The general topics for discussion will be as follows: Friday. 9:30 a. m., vocational voca-tional and part-time education: Friday, 2 p. m., education for citizenship; Saturday, Satur-day, :30 a. m., health education; Saturday, Satur-day, 2 p. m., administrative and miscellaneous miscel-laneous educational matters. "Thn new problems in education at the present time, both constructive and reconstructive, re-constructive, make it necessary for all administrative school officers to counsel together and obtain not only a clear vision, but a somewhat common understanding under-standing of the work to be done. Our success calls for good tea m work. and prood teamwork in a democracy results only from a common understanding that leads to co-operative effort." |
