Show I-MID ENDS II FORFEITURE The twelve Orientals taken into custody cus-tody by the police at 2133 Grant avenue, ave-nue, after a raid on a supposed gambling gam-bling den last evening, all forfeited bail when they failed to appear in police po-lice court this morning. The raid headed by Captain O. H. Mohlnian, was conducted at 10: 45 last night. Other officers who assisted in making the arrests were Sergeant J. F. Kelliher, Detective A. B. Jensen 1 and Patrolman Ezra Farr. The bail amounted to 120 for the crowd and was paid by Y. Cook. Other Oth-er Orientals in the charge were Tom .Tim, Sam Lee, Jim Abou, S. Koble, Tom Sing, H. Amata. S. Studi, K. Shu-tan. Shu-tan. N. Nasaki; K. Akai, and Jim Lucy. Jofin Doc Wciuycr, charged with (lis-turbing (lis-turbing the peace, forfeited bail of $10 when ho failed to appear to answer an-swer to a charge of disturbing the Ed Totos, charged with selling a packago of cigarcls to a minor, was told to appear for trial Tuesday morning- He entered a plea of not guilty. |
