V A, j-t- y ' sties j .sr. jzuesonrs: - Jivss? . jvjes.jr. r- - w-an c43r--- "szisr - SALT LAKE and Utah club women are doy making definite plans to aftend the biennial meeting of I trr peneral Federation of Wom- ; en's clubs in Chicago, June 9-19. A ; number are expecting to go besides , the regularly appointed delegates, and : . the attendance from Utah Trill prob-' prob-' ably reach twenty-five or thirty. Arrangements have been completed for the entertainment of delegates from California, Nevada and Idaho, who will pass through Salt Lake on June 6 on i their way to Chicago. One car will arrive ar-rive over the Oregon Short Line at 11:45 o'clock in the morning, and the j delegation on that car will be the guests of the Manufacturers ' association at i luncheon at the Vermont building at 1 o'clock. Another delegation in two cars will arrive at the Denver & Rio ' Grande station at 2:15 o'clock. All of , the visitors will be guests of honor at j a special organ recital at. 2:45 o'clock ! and will be given an automobile ride. I starting at 3:30 and ending at 4:50 o 'clock, when the delegates will be taken to the Denver & Eio Grande depot ; to continue their journey, i The guests will be met at the sta- j tions by the presidents of the federated clubs o"f the city and the Salt Lake representatives of these clubs to the i Chicago meeting. Mrs. Olive Havens is chairman of a committee on the luncheon, lunch-eon, Mrs. H. J. Hayward is chairman of the organ recital committee and Mrs. Lafayette Hanchett of the automobile committee., The Los Angeles Times says: A special train will leave Los Angeles June 5 and a verv attractive itinerary ha? been mapped out. The southern ; California delegation will join the: special from San Francisco and northern i points at Salt Lake City on June 6. At' Canon City, Colo., the women "s clubs will meet the special in a body, and at Denver there will be a reception and entertainment by Colorado club women who will join the delegation at this foint. Another reception will greet the delegates at Omaha and thv ar due in Chicago early on the morning of June 9." The Ftah delegation has bern invited to join the California deicgat es. but few are expeted to leave Salt Lake until Sunday night. The delegates from the state at Targe are Mrs. R. H.
