Maj 23. -A fierce three-cornered fight for the honors of the college section of the annual combination high school and college meet ' at Drake stadium today resulted In a close victory for Drake university, with a score of 49fc; Ames a close runner-up with 40 points, and Iowa third with 35. Coe finished fourth, after promising in the early stages to walk away with the honors. West high of Des Moines won easily in the high school .section With 33 points ; Davenport finished second with 17; Mar-shalltown Mar-shalltown third with 12, and Sioux City fourth with 9 points.
