S ir, Oneida o On an excellent field, twelve husky athletes from Murdock academy won the track meet of the church high Echool division di-vision yesterday on Brigham Young university uni-versity field at Provo. The meet was faat throughout, and. although Murdock won t lie events handily, Interest was alive to the very finish. It was the first track meet of the church letigue and the result proved gratifying to those in charge. A feature of the day was' the 440-yard race. Six men entered, Iuke of Murdock Mur-dock taking the lead. About half-way around the course .Luke's shoe became loose, Hew off his foot, leaving its owner to travel around the cinder path with only one foot covered. However, the Murdock boy never faltered and won his race after a hard effort. Time, 63:2. Parkinson, the husky weight thrower of the L. D. S.
