Show MAN UNCONSCIOUS FROM BLOW IN FACE As a result of a fight in Commercial street shortly after 9 o'clock last night, an unidentified man is lying in the county hospital unconscious. He probably prob-ably will die. According to such information in-formation as could be gained by the police, he was struck in the face by an unknown man and knocked to the pavement just in front of the Orpheum Liquor company's saloon. He was taken to the emergency hospital by Patrolman Jorgensen and . attended there by Dr. H. B. Snragne. Efforts to revive the injured man proving futile. Dr. Sprague ordered him removed to the county hospital, where he was reported to be unconscious at an early hour this morning. Nothing was found on the man that would give j a clue to his identity. K-oss Morley, 23 years of age, who admitted to the police that he saw a stranger strike the man, was held by the police last night on a charge of intoxication. Efforts Ef-forts of Morley to point out to Patrolman Patrol-man Hendrickson the man that struck the blow led to his arrest pending further fur-ther investigation. |
