San Fran-clseo Fran-clseo & Northwestern Railroad company filed articles of Incorporation today In the office of the County Clerk in thia city. By the articles filed it is evident that the railway is a branch of the Santa Fe system. The active men In the lncor- ? oration being prominently identified with he Santa Fe company. The corporation starts with a capital stock of JlS.OOO.ftOO. The directors are Captain A. H. Fayson. assistant to the president of the Santa Fe company: H. D. Plllsbury. A. More-ton. More-ton. W. A. Alberton, H. K. Gregory, all of San Francisco. The amount of capital stock actually subscribed is $300,000. of which sum Captain Cap-tain Payson hae subscribed 139S.00O. The principal place of business is San Francisco, Fran-cisco, and the terra of existence ia fifty -eara. The route of the railway Is from Alton. Humboldt county, thence In a generally southerly 4 and southwesterly direction through the counHes of Humboldt. Mendocino, Men-docino, Sonoma. Marin and Contra Costa to Point Richmond, the terminus of the Santa Fe. The estimated length of the rati way is 800 miles.
