A negro employee -of a circus here was obliged to flee front the tent at" the performance last night to escape lynching by A mob of Missouri university stodents. During a rush for seats the negro struck Stanley Sisson of Toledo. Q., a student, a blow on-the head with i tent pole, causing- a dangerous but not fatal wound. The students, on saeing the blood flow, rushed over the ropes and one of the foctbaUTteam caught the negro with his firt on the point of the chin.
