Show Who Owns This f ' A young army officer of a decidedly sentimental turn of mind made a curious cu-rious mistake a few days ago.' Under the army regulations, all officers of the . army are required to furnish the Adjutant-General with photographs , ot themselves for filing with their records. The officer in question undertook -2- comply with this requirement, buti must have been thinking of someone else at the time, for instead of sending send-ing his own photograph to the War de- -partment he sent that of a beautiful -young lady containing only her first name and a brief term of endearment. The officials are in somewhat of a quandary in the matter, as they have no means of identifying either the original or-iginal of the photograph or the name of the sender. That young man may learn of his mistake when he looks for the photograph of his sweetheart. Washington Star. |
