Show PLEADS 0T GUILTY TO ALL THE CHARGES Lieut. - L. T. ' Baker Appears Before a Court-Ma rtial at Fort . Leavenworth. LEAVENWORTH, Kan.. May 12. The court-martial trial . of the eight student officers opened Monday morning morn-ing at Port Leavenworth, with Col. C-C. C-C. Carr as president, and Capt. Brown as Judge-advocate. First Lieut. Leonard Leon-ard T. Baker of the First infantry was the first officer called. - He was represented repre-sented by MaJ. Morton and Capt. Bolles. There were nine specifications in the charge. The Lieutenant pleaded not guilty to all of them, giving as his excuses ex-cuses for missing rollcall as headache, slowness of clock, and others. His answers an-swers were all unsatisfactory! The three following officers are expected ex-pected uo today. L-leut. William M. True, Sixteenth infantry: Lieut. C. R. Jones, First cavalry, and Lieut. Crockett, Crock-ett, Twenty-fourth infantry. It is reported re-ported that the other four will be given another chance. |
