Show THREE HUNDRED MEMBERS ENJOY BOXING ROUTS The athletic Hinoker at the SI. Regis club Monday night proved a big success, and over MOO of the t.lf) members were present, many of whom took part In the programme scheduled for the- ovenlng. Manager Price had arranged a good card of four bouts, in which clever mitt artists took part. Tho first on the piogramme was a four-round four-round go between Joe Clark and Kid Flaring, two welters, tho former winning on cleverness. Billy Oleson and "Swede" Murphy boxed four rounds to a draw. These two men a t o light heavies, and arc developing into good boxers. "Peanuts" Sinclair outpointed Kid Hammer Ham-mer In the featherweight division in three rounds. Sinclair is proving to he a whirlwind, whirl-wind, and Is head and shoulders over all the feathers In tho city Jim Welch was given the deelsion in the heavyweight match over R. Wright in four rounds of fast sparring. |
