Nobody in Salt Lake had ever reen Mr. Mnek in a character role nnd hln makeup, hi? dialect and really real-ly wonderful acting have been an agreeable agree-able surprise. "Trilby" hns onlv been seen in Salt Lake .n tho highest prices, and at popular prices Is drawing great crowds. It will run all the week, and following It Mr. Mack will put on "Christopher. "Chris-topher. Jr." with himself an Christopher and Eleanor Montcll. a beautiful and charming actress, as Dora Medway. This will ho Miss Monlell's first appearance with the Mack company, but she Is well remembered here ns leading lady with James J. Corbett on the actor-pugilist's Inst visit. Mr Mack's physician allowed him to work last nl:ht and ho gave a good performance. With a good rest tonight to-night tho doctor says 1k- will be able Io work the rest of the week all right. "Novor, Never Lund," the dramatic drama-tic playlet by the great author, Israel Zangwlll. portrayed by Helen Grantlcy and a uplenclld company is giving the people of Salt Lnk much to think about. This will be the public tryout of "Lasca," a new playlet by local people.
