Ecclcs of Ogdcn. y The Morningstar homo on East South Temple was tho sceuo of a social and musical Monday evening, when Mrs. Dav Youngbcrg and tho Misses Korous. Miss Peterson and Miss Francy entertained, tho nine nurses of tho 1909 class of St. Mark's hospital, who .will graduate April 15. Tho evening was spent with vocal and instrumental music, followed by a. social time. The rooms were handsomely decorated in the hospital class colors bf blue and gold. A large mound of daffodils and violets formed the centerpioco for the prettily appointed tabic, with streamers of blue and gold ribbons from the chaudelicr to tho four corners of tho table. Miss Gertrude Beacher assisted during the evening. Tho uurses present wero tho Misses Mina Killingsworth, Louise Newitt, Kathleen Townscnd, Nellie Montgomery, Lucrotia Gnskin, Ella Dennis, Elizabeth Morgan, Olive Whittle Whit-tle and Miss B. McFadden. During the evening delightful vocal selections woro given by Mtss Edna Pott- and instrumental instru-mental numbers b- Miss Ivy Young-berg, Young-berg, i Tho twenty-four young ladies of tho sophomore class of" the' University of Utah entertained at a tea from : to n:30 o'clock at the library building Mondav afternoon, when their guests wore the faculty and their wives, tho members of Iho'Ladies' Literary club, tho College club, the Authors' club and tho P. E. O. society, with tho students of the University. "Tho rooms were effectively ef-fectively decorated for the afternoon in tho class colors of heliotrope and corn color. Tho members of the class who acted as hostesses were the Misses Ella Bitner. Mabollc Cozier, Esther Christen-son, Christen-son, Katheriuo Costlv, Hazel Edwards; Ivy Ford, Georgia Johnson.
