Show News of Kaysville. Special to The Tribune. KAYSVILLE, March 29. Mrs. Kmma Scofflelil. wife of Alfred Seofflcld of this place, died yesterday about 1 p. m. at tho Laylon hospital, after a ten dnys' Illness Ill-ness of blood poison and hemorrhage. She was born March 29. 1871. In Nottingham, England, nnd would have been '.lh years old today had she lived. Mrs. Scoffield Joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Lnt-ter-dav Saints In her native country and emigrated to Utah In 1S9-1. She lived In Salt Lake City for three years, and In 1S07 married Mr. Scoffield and moved to Kaysville. where she had since resided. Mrs. Scoffield Is survived by her husband hus-band and six small children, the oldosl one being 11 years old. Soveral of her brothers and sisters are sill! living In England, as she was the only one of her fnmlly to come to America. The funeral services over her remains will be held In the Kaysville meeting house Wednesday Wednes-day at I o'clock p. m. Mr. Scoffield Is now lyiivg very pick wllli a bad attack op quinsy. He Iiub tho sympathy of the entire community In his sad bereavement. Mrs. Scoffield was member of the Women of Woodcraft lodge of Kaysville. Mr. and Mrs, Claud T, Barnes of Salt U'iko City were Kaysville visitors yesterday. yester-day. Dr. William F. Ingram has been quite sick I l:u last few days With a bad case of la grippe. Mrs. Ellznboth Mnrrlotl of Ogden Is down In Kaysville visiting with relatives. Mrs. Isabella Smllh. an old resident of this place. Is qullo sick. Mr. and .Mrs. James Pnyno of Salt. Iike City spent Sunday In Kaysville with relatives. rela-tives. Dr. and Mrs. Fred J. Pack of the state university were visiting relatives here Sunday. Dr. Pack gave a very Interesting lecture Sunday evening on "Geology." |
