Show 1 I : j h, V ' ' "' i I i ' -' i ; i I f 1 Raymond Reynolds Ray Reynolds dies in rest home 3 Raymond Reynolds, 92, of Vernal, died in a rest home in Salt Lake City Feb. 5, 1983. g Born July 1, 1890 in Vernal, he was the son of William G. and Elizabeth Storr f Reynolds. He never married. 1 He was a chicken rancher, veteran of World War I and member of the Maeser n 1st Ward. He served in France during the e war and was wounded while fighting in n the trenches. He was a lover of horses j. and as a young man he'became an ex-d ex-d pert in breaking them. He also was expert ex-pert in horseshoes and checkers and delighted in beating everyone he played. While helping to construct the foundation lt of the Maeser 1st Ward Chapel; he was e rescued from a cave in. I .' Survivors are his sister, Inez R. Timothy ,g of Orem and many nieces and nephews. i; Funeral services were Tuesday, Feb, r, 8 at the Vernal Mortuary. Burial was in ;r the Maeser Fairview Cemetery. Funeral services were conducted by il Bishop Floyd Bodily. Merrill Anderson h gave the family prayer. Miland Knight iV gave the invocation and Bishop Bodily gave some remarks. Allen Kunzler sang, "My God to Me," accompanied by Melba Eaton. Lyle Glines spoke. Lois Erickson, Marva Lent and Don Walker sang, "In the Garden." John Coon gave the ,y benediction. Prelude and postlude music was by Ruth Walker. ie s" Clyde Anderson dedicated the grave Burial was with military honors. Pallbearers were Rex Anderson, Row Anderson, Allen Kunzler, Rick Watson le Paul Dieter and Bill McCamey. ;h 3f -a |
