L ii MAIN CORRIDOR to the Uintah County nursing home has been roughed in as the contractor is ahead of schedule. Completion date for the facility facili-ty is in August. Nursing home sprints ahead of schedule to August date The 50-bed nursing home center being built by Uintah County at 500 West 500 ' South is ahead of schedule and should be completed by August. Construction of the facility began this fall. Cold weather has prevented the contractor con-tractor from placing concrete on the south end of the building, but most of the roof joists are in place. The building and furnishing of the'nur-sing the'nur-sing home will cost about $1.2 million. County Commissioner Bryon Merrell said that several firms are interested in buying or leasing the nursing home when it is completed, but no agreement has been made. He said that the commissioners were against selling the structure, but are open to leasing it. |
