Show Water supply above average The water supply outlook for the Uintah Uin-tah Basin and Daggett Soil Conservation districts is near to above average, according accor-ding to the U.S. Department of Agriculture Soil Conservation Service - and Utah State Department of Natural Resources Feb. 1 report. Snow cover ranges from 102 for the Strawberry River to 159 of the Feb. 1 average for Ashley Creek. The Duchesne River is 131, Lakefork-Yellowstone rivers 155, and Uintah-Whiterocks rivers 147 of average for February. Precipitation at mountain stations for the month of January ranged from 12 of average at Grizzly Ridge to 63 at East Portal. October-January totals now range from average at Daniels-Strawberry Daniels-Strawberry to 136 at Grizzly Ridge. Soil moisture is above average due to above average August and September precipitation. Reservoir storage ranges from 99 to 180 of the Feb. 1 average. Streamflow forecasts range from 80 of the April-July average for Flaming Gorge Inflow to 142 of the April-July average for the Whiterocks and Uintah rivers. The Duchesne near Tabiona is forecast at 116, Duchesne at Duchesne 113, Strawberry at Duchesne 113, Rock Creek 109, Currant Creek 110, Lakefork 126, Yellowstone 125, Duchesne at Myton 129, Duchesne at Randlett 132, West Fork Duchesne 119, Black's Fork 87, and Ashley Creek 135 of the April-July average. Henry's Fork near Manila is forecast at 86 of the April-September average. |
