Show PIONEER WOMAN GONE Mrs. Eliza P. Davis Dies Very Suddenly of Heart Failure. Mrs. Eliza P. Davis, relict of the lale John S. Davis, died very suddenly sud-denly of heart failure and old ago at her home at 175 east Fourth South street Saturday morning at 11:30. Mrs. Davis "was one of the old pioneers pio-neers of Salt Lake, having been born in 1S23, on November 5. She was a native of White Rock House, near Fer- Mrs. Eliza P. Davis. rysidc, Carmarthenshire,. South Wales, and was married December 30. 1350 to J. S. Davis in Myrthcr Tuddville, Glcn-margarshirc, Glcn-margarshirc, South Wales. Mr. Davis died in Salt Lake in 1SS2. Mrs. Davis camo to this country in 1854, and allied herself with the Mormon Mor-mon church. She is survived, by ono daughter, who is tho wifo of former Senator J. S. Rawlins, and flvo grandchildren, grand-children, two of whom, Mrs. Ray and Alta Rawlins, woro with her when sho died, as was her daughter.
