Show "TP BEOS" !S III SUCCESS. i ! j Laughing Play at Orpheum j to Be Seen for Second I Time Tonight "Twin Beds." that laughing festival, 'which has appeared in Ogden before with decided success, was presented to a good-sized audience again at tho Orpheum Or-pheum theatro last evening. The play, It seems, has a permanent appeal, and Us mirth provoking situations were well appreciated by last evening's gathering. The second performance will be given this -evening. Josephine Saxe as Blanche Hawkins, the young matron who meets with all the difficulties, is accorded the major part of the play. Her peculiar manner of speaking her part and of handling the many complexities which arise, are delightful. August Arifmi as SIgnor Monti, an Italian singer of romantic tendencies, and Kathlyn Tracey as the wlfo who holds him in curb, brought much laughter, while Hugh O'Counell, as young Mr. Hawkins, carried out his part well. Bess Stafford as Nora, the maid, Susie Scott as Amanda Davis, and Howard Fay as Andrew Larkin, the latter being a newlv-marricd couple in the .play, aided in bringing out the cleverly written effects of the play "Twin Beds" concerns itself with the harrowing experiences of three couples who live in a large fashionable apartment apart-ment house, and through tho friendliness friendli-ness of one of their number, suddenly for peace and privacy, both of whicn find that, try as they may, they cannot can-not escape each other. In tho scramDi, recede steadily as the plot unfolds, the characters are intensely amusing. |
