Show First Convention Held in Weber Web-er Normal College; Bluth Delivers Address Ward teachors, In order to bo able to perform efficient work that will produce results, must have a desire for the work, be prepared to live the principles of tho gospel and set examples ex-amples by attending regularly all meetings held In tho wards according to msirucuons given me wara teacn-ors teacn-ors of tho North Weber stake by tho firts convention held yesterday afternoon after-noon in the Weber Normal college, by President John V. Bluth. The convention was attended by about -100 members of the priesthood In the stake and tho principal nd-Bluth. nd-Bluth. He advised the teachers to be fully prepared on the lesson selected to be taken tolho families, but they were also to give consideration to tho needs of tho families in their diffi-cuties, diffi-cuties, troubles ana discouragements, The teachers wer also advised to prepare themselves for the visits to the families by engaging in prayer before making the visits. The subject discussed (by President Bluth was "Preparation by the Ward Teachers for the Month ly Visitation.'-. Prior lo the convention session a special meeting of ward bishoprics and ward clerks was held, at which important matters pertaining to ward activities was discussed. During the meeting the names of seventy-two elders el-ders were presented for ordnalion to the office of seventy, two for elders and six for high priests. |
