Show Helen Hughes Dies of Mhienza-Pneunionia GLEN FALLS, N. Y April 18 Hel en Hughes, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Hughes, died here to-day to-day after an illness of several months with influenza and pneumonia. She was 2S years old. Miss Hughes was graduated from Vassar college in 191-1 and then devoted devot-ed herself to Y. W. C. A. work, first a3 a volunteer in Washington, D. C, and later as a student secretary in the northeastern field. In the fall of 1918 she was at work in Boston for the United Drive and while there, suffered from an attack of influenza, followed by pneumonia, which which sho never recovered. oo |
