Show FIVE JOIN RAGE FOR NEBRASKA PRIMARY VOTE ( Pershing, Wood and Johnson for Republican Honors; Ross Against Hitchcock LINCOLN, Neb., April 19. Bad roads, resulting from snow and rain storms in Nebraska, promised to reduce re-duce the voting in tomorrow's presi-l dential preference primary. General John .1. Pershing, Major General Leonard Wood and United States Senator Hiram W. Johnson of i California, are entered for the Kepub- lican presidential indorsement while Robert Ross, of Lexington, Neb., will run on both tickets. Mr. Ross is the only candidate whose name is printed on the Democratic Demo-cratic ballot in opposition of President Wilson in the peace treaty fight. Added interest is given the Democratic Demo-cratic voters by the candidacy of W. J. Bryan, who is seeking a place on the party's delegation to the national convention, con-vention, and who said he would not support Senator Hitchcock because of the latter's position on the federal prohibitory pro-hibitory amendment and for other reasons. rea-sons.
