Show Postponed One Week Benefit Bouts Now Slated Jor April 15th For three excellent reasons the boxing bouts slated for the hospital hospi-tal benefit have been postponed one week, and are no wset for Saturday night, April 15, in Palo-mar. Palo-mar. First, the original date, April 8, comes within LDS April conference time, and many will be at conference con-ference who would otherwise attend at-tend the bouts. The Desert Sentinels, Sentin-els, 65 members strong, will all be at conference, as they are to sing. The other two reasons are e-qually e-qually importna t so we won't need to list them here. It all adds up to the fact that the West Millard Mil-lard Hospital Association felt it would be wisdom to postpone the bouts, so that a bigger attendance would be at the performance. In the meantime the cards remains re-mains the same biggest and the best ever staged here. Main event-ers event-ers Warner and Rawlinson are in the pink and the week's delay is putting a high polish on the entire en-tire card. So mark April 15 with red and be at Palomar at 8 p.m. |
