Show Lung Clot Was Mini. Not Blood A clot of mud was recovered from Jack Webb's right lung in an operation Saturday, and he is now recovering rapidly. He has been hospitalized since Feb. 22 when he was injured when his tractor overturned with him. He was pinned under water in the canal for 5 minutes while eight men worked to free him. The clot was thought to be blood until the operation Saturday Satur-day revealed it was mud. His lungs were well explored with a light and the left lung was found bruised and the bottom collapsed. This was corrected and Mr. Webb has made a rapid recovery since. , His brother, Spencer Webb visited visit-ed him again on Sunday, and was told that if Jack's condition keeps improving at that rate he could leave the hospital Wednesday. |
