During the Christmas holidays l baby Ronald R. Gubler, aged seven months was the center of interest when family members assembled for a celebration of a double line of five generations, as indicated in the picture. Ronald was born May 23, 1943. His mother, Cleo Hunt Gubler, wife of Roosevelt Gubler, is 19. His grandfather, Max Elias Hunt, aged 39, is the father of ten children, and is now superintendent superintend-ent of Ivins ward Sunday school. The great-grandfather, Elias Frank Hunt, has six children, 24 grandchildren, and this one greatgrandchild. great-grandchild. He was ward clerk of old Hebron for 20 years. The great-great-grandfather, Elias Hunt, is aged 85. He was father of 15 children, has 66 grandchildren, grandchild-ren, 79 great-grandchildren and this one great-great-grandchild. He was counselor to Bishop George A. Holt in Hebron ward for 25 years, and was foreman under Supt. George A. Holt on the construction of the Enterprise reservoir. The other two women in the picture are Ronald's great-grandmother, Sarah Ann Alger Hunt, and his great-great-grandmother, Anna Mary Barnhurst Alger, 85 (Continued on page eight) Hunt Reunion (Continued from first page) years of age. She was the mother of nine children, has 45 grandchildren, grand-children, 91 great-grandchildren and this one great-great-grandchild. She was the first ward chorister in Cleveland, Emery county, Utah, and also Relief Society So-ciety president in that ward, later serving several years as president of the Enterprise ward Relief Society. Three years ago, at the aged of 82, she helped care for the Temple rose garden, and still sings with the St. George Center ward choir. |
