Show BUNKERYILLE, Nev. Mrs. Mary H. Leavitt Reporter Wendell Leavitt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lemuel Leavitt, arrived last Monday evening from fulfilling a two-year mission for the L. D. S. church. His arrival was at approximately ap-proximately the same time as that of the body of his brother, Pfc. Ai-lo Leavitt from Kingman, where he was in military training. Moapa stake conference was held at Bunkerville Sunday, Jan. 10. Joseph F. Smith, patriarch, was the official church representative represen-tative from Salt Lake City, with Pres. Bryan L. Bunker in charge of the meetings. A male chorus from Mesquite ward furnished the music for the forenoon session, and a Ladies' chorus from Bunkerville Bunk-erville ward furnished the afternoon after-noon numbers. Special reports were made by two recently returned re-turned missionaries, Verr Leavitt, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Leavitt and Elmer Gibson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gibson of Las Vegas. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Rowley and family returned to their home in Blanding, Utah, Monday, after visiting a week with Mrs. Rowley's Row-ley's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Leavitt. |
