Show ROCKYILLE Mrs. Newell DeMillo Reporter Mrs. Don Leavitt and twin daughters daugh-ters of St. George are visiting in Rockville with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hirschi. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Snow arrived ar-rived Monday from Springville to attend the funeral services of Henry Hirschi, father of Mrs. Snow. Mrs. Clement Broderick arrived ar-rived Monday from Mississippi, where she has spent the past three weeks with her husband, who is stationed there in U. S. Navy training. Many ward members from Rockville attended Zion Park stake quarterly conference in Hurricane Sunday. Mrs. Harry Brockmier of Zion Park was a business visitor here on Monday. Out-of-town relatives and friends attending the funeral services of Henry Hirschi Monday were: Mr. and Mrs. Oliver DeMille, sons Raymond and Glendon, and daughter, daugh-ter, Darlene of Hurricane; Mrs. Kenneth Imlay and Mrs. Wendell Wakeling of Cedar City; and Mrs. Arnetta Haider, Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Stanworth and MiJo Stanworth, Mr. and Mrs. Claud Hirschi, Mrs. Mae Hirschi, Mrs. Anna Wood. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Lemmon, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Stout, all of Hurricane; Mrs. Susie Taylor, Mr. and Mrs. Lorin D. Hirschi and Glenn Hirschi and family of Cedar City; Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Averett and sons. Mr. and Mrs. Varren Hirschi and Rac Hirschi of Boulder City; Riley Hirschi, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Blake and Don Leavitt of St. George. Mr. and Mrs. Heber Hirschi received re-ceived word recently of the birth of a daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Albricht of Los Angeles. Mrs. Albricht is their daughter, the former Donna Hirschi. were made for ward conference to be held the first Sunday in April.. Elmer Hardy, Howell Segler, Paul Wilson and Willard Duncan reported at Salt Lake City last week end for military induction. Paul Wilson and Howell Scgler joined the U. S. Navy and Elmer Hardy, the mechanical division of the Army air corps. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Duncan visited in Provo and Salt Lake City over last week. Mrs. Duncan's Dun-can's mother, Mrs. Wallace Duncan, Dun-can, who has been in Salt Lake City the past three weeks, returned re-turned with them. Mrs. Seldon Gifford and two small children have returned to their home in LaVerkin. Mr. Gifford Gif-ford has electrical employment in Cedar City. Clell and Powell Stratton have been hauling coal from northern Utah, which is materially helping the fuel situation in LaVerkin. Walter Church has begun a program of improvement on the home and grounds he purchased recently. Mrs. Wayne Wilson spent last week in Salt Lake City. A soldier's farewell party was held here last Thursday for six boys who are leaving shortly for military service. A program, followed fol-lowed by dancing honored Benarr Gifford, Garn Seglcr, Howell Seg-ler Seg-ler and Paul Wilson, who joined the Navy, and Elmer Hardy and Willard Duncan of the Army. |
