Show Pearl Macfarlane active Church worker dies; honored at services : ' ,,r" . jf-y f mm 1 y ' ' ""' " 1 iiiii miii i n 9 She is survived by two sons and two daughters: Mrs. Bill (Mais) Rollins and Daniel J, Both of Parowan; Mrs. Mary Matheson of Cedar City and LaMon J. of Midvale. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 12, at 2:oo p.m. in the Parowan Third Ward LDS Chapel. The family prayer was offered of-fered by Rowland Yardley with Itha" Mathensen playing the prelude and postlude music and Bishop Reginald Hughes conducting. Musical selections consisted of Gayelynn Wright, "My Mother's Eyes," acc. by Itha Mortensen, an accordian solo by Heber Lund and a ladies quartet by Janet Jones, Brenda Adams, Katrine Johnson and Myrna Michell singing "God's other Room," and "Pal of my Cradle Days." An eulogy was given by Jean Hendrickson with LaMar Jensen speaking and Bishop Reginald Hughes making brief remarks. The invocation was offered by Danny Matheson with Bill Barton giving the benediction and Rex Burton dedicating the grave. Interment In-terment was in the Parowan City cmemetery under the direction of the Spilsbury and Graff Mortuary. PEARL MIL1NDA J. MACFARLANE Pearl Milinda Jensen Macfarlane, 87, died July 8, 1977, at the Cedar Manor Nursing Home in Cedar City of natural causes. Born April 6, 1890, in Parowan, Utah, to Niels and Mary Nielson Jensen. Married Daniel Ford MacFarlane July 7, 1909, In Parowan. He died March 18, 1973. Mrs. Macfarlane was a homemaker and an active member of the LDS church. |
