Lately I've noticed that some of our local police and highway high-way patrol cars have blue lights. What does the blue light on a police car mean? A. The blue light was adopted as a color which specifically denotes a police vehicle. In fact, no vehicle may display a blue flashing or oscillating light except a police vehicle. Additionally, Ad-ditionally, blue lights are more visible under some lighting conditions such as fog or snowfall. . When you see a blue light flashing, be prepared to yield right of way to a police vehicle. q. I was approached recently by a man who sold me a color TV set for $95.00. Now I; in worried about it being stolen. What can I do? A. One reason that burglary is so common is the ease with which theives can "fence" stolen property to "honest" citizens. Surely you knew that such an item was probably stolen when it was offered at such a ridiculously low price. In the future, deal with reputable businessmen you know and trust, avoid "no questions asked" deals, and obtain identification iden-tification from any person who tries to sell you "hot" merchandise. mer-chandise.
