Show SLOAN FUNERAL IS LARGELY ATTENDED Funeral services for Thomas W. Sloan, who died last Tuesday at his residence. Second avenue, were held yesterday afternoon in the Kighteenth ward meeting meet-ing house, with many friends in attendance. at-tendance. The speakers were Apostles Heber ,T. Grant and George Albert Smith, both of whom paid splendid tributes to the life of Mr. Sloan. The opening pra yer was made b Kzra T. Stevensen, and the II. T. Whitney quartette rendered several vocal selections. Miss Martha Kane Pat-trick Pat-trick gave a solo. "Sometime We'll Understand." Un-derstand." Junius F. Wells dedicated the grave and the benediction was given by Apostle Anthony W. IviiiH. Many beautiful floraJ pieces were received. Interment In-terment was in City cemetery. |
