A Chinese Butcher A Chinaman yesterday attempted to butcher a pig and he first hit it over the head a number of times with a small hatchet and then attempted to cut its throat with a dull knife After these numerous nu-merous attempts he stood on the outside of the pen and held it fast by a rope attached tached to one of its hind legs and compos edly awaited the slow tortuous death of his victim City Marshal Kescels atten ion was directed towards this inhuman treatment and he gave the matter his prompt attention Park Record
