Show Griep Metal Works to Hold Grand Opening The F. Griep Heating and Sheet Metal Works, which has been in business in Sugar House for 22 years, will celebrate the grand opening of its large sales display room and remodeled store front on Saturday, Nov. 29. Also recently completed is a sheet metal shop in the rear of the store at 2;)11 So. 11th East which has 2000 square feet of floor space. Mr. and Mrs. Griep started their business originally on Highland Dr. near Wilmington Ave. After a couple of temporary tempo-rary moves, they came to their present location in 1934. Mr. Griep has the distinction of owning the oldest established shop of its type in the Sugar House area. He recalls that the old sugar mill was still here when he moved in. Mr. Griep extended a cordial invitation to the public to attend at-tend his opening on Saturday. |
