Show THIS and THAT IjN SUGAR HOUSE WARD" by Leah Bond Dec. 11 will be an important date for all ward members to remember. On that night in the ward amusement hall a welfare dinner will be served. The purpose pur-pose of this dinner is to finish , raising the welfare fund assigned assign-ed our ward. Each family in the ward will be contacted. Howard Miller and his wife, 1899 South 11th East, were the guests of honor recently at a party held in the canyon home of Henry Elders. A chicken dinner was served the presidents i of the 140th quorum of seventies and their wives. Howard Mill- er has been recently sustained 1 as a stake high council alternate. I Dorothy and Harold Chase have moved into their new home at 20S6 So. 23rd East. Last Friday evening at the home of Ray Garrett, 1391 East 21st South, the elders of the first quorum and their wives were guests at a party. Games and refreshments were enjoyed during dur-ing the evening. Victor and Velda Rasmussen and tiny daughter Rebecca, and Maralyn, were down last week end from their home in Clark-ston, Clark-ston, Utah. On Friday afternoon a group of Velda's friends gathered gath-ered at the home of Bea Berg for a "get together." I "To grandmother's house we go," was the cry of Jackie, Carl ! and Terry Teeples for their par- i ents, the Verl Teeples, 1255 Westminster, took them to their I grandparents up in Idaho for!
