Show I Sugar House Ward Scene of Nuptials I Sugar House Ward was the scene of a wedding reception Friday, Nov. 20, when Mr. and ( Mrs. James Ralph Bown greet- l ed their friends and relatives. The young couple were married earlier in the day in the L. D. S. Temple by Robert J. Burton. The bride was formerly Miss Rosalie Johnson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Stanlev Johnson. John-son. 1920 South 13th East. The ! groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. 1 Hyrum B. Bown, 327 East 17th South. For her wedding the bride chose a white satin gown with which she wore silver slippers." 1 Her finger-tip length veil was , trimmed with seed pearls and ! orange blossoms. Mrs. Viola Christensen. lister lis-ter of the bride, was matron of honor and wore a peach taffeta gown. Bridesmaids were Nell Christensen and Ann Sorenson. who were gowned in blue net. Marylyn and Deane Hess were flower girls and they wore little blue silk and net gowns and carried car-ried bouquets of pink and white carnations edged in pink rose buds. Bride and groom are honeymooning honey-mooning at a local winter resort re-sort and will return to resume their studies at the University. -Before her wedding Rosalie was honored at a bride's shower show-er by her friends and classmates. class-mates.
