Show WHITEROCKS Madeena Smith School Groups Go On Field Trip The sixth, seventh and eighth grades of the Whiterocks school went to Vernal Wednesday on an educational trip. They visited vis-ited the field house, bank and other places of business. Mrs. Delia Frances left on Thursday to visit over the weekend with friends in Hyde Park. Mrs. Lela Anderton and children, chil-dren, of Tooele, are visiting this week at the Leland Moosman home. The Petro Forakis family, of Salt Lake City, spent Mother's Day with Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Hoops. A sack lunch was furnished the four small grades in school j on Wednesday. They ate on the grass under the trees. i SHOW FILMS Miss Beatrice Stringham gave a lecture and showed three films of her trip to' Europe and the Holy Land at MIA Tuesday. It was very interesting. The ward Boy Scouts went on a hike to the Snake John Springs on Friday of last week. Paul Robb is on the mountains, moun-tains, where he is employed by the Forest Service. He expects to work there this summer. Mr. and Mrs. Jewel Christen-sen, Christen-sen, of New .York.-visited last week at the'Jense Christensen home. They left their twin daughters in New York as the trip was too long for them. Mr. and Mrs. Terry Goulding left on Tuesday to make their home in Logan, where he has employment. Mrs. Edith Oberhansley took the Primary Home Builders. Fay Ellingford, Terrell Smith, Betty Larna and Gwenda Oberhansley Ober-hansley to Roosevelt to practice singing with other Primaries for conference. Visiting at Sunday School and meeting on Sunday were: Mrs. Edith Goodrich, Peggy Goodrich, Good-rich, Ruth Morrill, Pauline Mc-Conkie, Mc-Conkie, Joan Ross and Marta Morrill, of Tridell. Bishop and Mrs. Gilbert Ellingford El-lingford attended the Seminary graduation in Roosevelt Sunday. Sun-day. Speakers at meeting Sunday were Betty Moosman, Ina Ellingford El-lingford and Presley Timothy, of the high council. Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Anderton had their baby blessed at meeting meet-ing on Sunday. They were here on a visit. Mrs. Nora Christensen, cook at school, was ill and off the job two days this week. Mrs. Madena Smith took her place in the kitchen. Three of the Boy Scouts, Orion Or-ion Smith, Dennis Murray and David Moosman mowed the lawn around the church house on Thursday.. |
