Show Having Day Staris At Hew Duchesne County Courthouse There has been a lot of moving mov-ing going on 'at .Duchesne the ,past several days. County officials, offi-cials, the school board, and city employees are now quartered quarter-ed in the new courthouse building, build-ing, which has been under construction con-struction since last July. According to information coming Irom the various offices that will be housed in the beautiful beau-tiful new building, moving started last Friday and Saturday Satur-day and continued through the early part of the .week. Porter Merrell, county clerk, reported there are still a few items that have not been completed in the county pari of the courthouse, but they are able to set up and carry on business with very little inconvenience. 'The school board moved Monday, and Duchesne Du-chesne city's recorder, .Mrs. Hildur Johnston, is taking- care of business in her new office. Court in the Fourth District convened on Monday in the new courtrooms for the first time. It is reported the TState Road Commission, the Soil Conservation Conser-vation Service and various other oth-er agencies in Duchesne will ; move their offices into the courthouse from their present locations. Some have been in the old courthouse, and some in private buildings in the city. If you have business with the county, city or school board in the future don't look for them in the old offices, but go to the new courthouse and -try and find them there. |
